We’ve been selling discounted tickets for twenty years! There are few questions we haven’t heard and have compiled a list of the most frequently asked.

What’s the minimum for a group?
Most events have a group minimum of 10 tickets.

Do you have school shows?
We often have programs designed for school groups with special discounts to: Sesame Street Live, Circuses, Ice Shows, and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Some children’s shows and musicals offer educational resource guides.

How far in advance can I order tickets?
Tickets to several events can be ordered up to a year in advance of the show. When you order before an event is on sale, you are really placing an advance reservation. We log your request and as soon as we receive information on the event (prices, dates, times) we call you to confirm your order.

Can I change my order?
Yes. You can add or subtract any amount of tickets (based on availability) up to your full payment deadline. After that, you can add tickets to your account up to the day before the show with a credit card or cash

When do I pay?
Once you reserve tickets, you will receive a confirmation via Email, Fax, or mail. This confirmation will have your deposit and full payment deadlines. Normally, a 10% deposit is due within 10 days of placing your reservation. Full payment for most events is two weeks prior to opening night.
We accept: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER, Cash & Money Orders. Personal & Corporate checks MUST be received within two weeks of the performance.
All payments must be US Funds.

Can I cancel my order?
Yes – prior to your full payment deadline. Once a ticket is purchased it may not be refunded or exchanged.

Do I lose my deposit if I cancel my order?
Deposits are non-refundable, however you are able to use deposited money to purchase tickets to any Olympia Entertainment event.

Do you charge for Bus Parking?
No. Bus parking for Fox Theatre events is free along the streets behind the Fox Theatre. Bus Parking at Joe Louis Arena is free along Civic Center Drive.

How much is regular parking?
Parking for general Fox Theatre, Joe Louis Arena, Cobo Arena, and Second City events is $6 at our Olympia Entertainment parking garages and lots. The Riverfront Executive Lot at Joe Louis Arena is $15. Parking in the Foxtown area for Detroit Tigers games ranges from $6 to $20 depending on distance from Comerica Park.
Parking in the Fox Theatre Parking Garage is ALWAYS $6 when you show your ticket to a Fox Theatre or Second City event.

Are there obstructed view seats at your venues?
There are no obstructed view seats in Olympia Entertainment venues. However, some events use staging, rigging, props and drapes that may obstruct views from seating areas. We make every effort to avoid these areas when placing your order.

Where can I pick up my tickets?
Paid tickets will be mailed if it is two weeks prior to the show. Paid tickets can also be picked up at will call for the various venues. In advance, you can pick up tickets for most events at the Joe Louis Arena Box Office 10AM – 5:30PM

What if I lose my tickets?
Lost tickets can not be reprinted prior to your show date. Call Group Sales if this occurs.

What if my tickets are stolen?
If your tickets are stolen, you must provide the venue box office with a police report of the stolen tickets. New tickets will be issued to you once the report has been provided.

Do toddlers and babies need a ticket?
Children who have celebrated their 2nd birthday need a ticket for all events.
Children who have celebrated their 1st birthday (and older) need a ticket for all Children Events such as Sesame Street Live, Blues Clues, Dragon Tales, Barney, Bear in The Big Blue House, Rugrats, Etc.

What about Accessible Seating?
All Olympia Entertainment venues are ADA compliant. Olympia Entertainment Account Executives are able to reserve accessible seating for Joe Louis Arena events. Fox Theatre Accessible Seating is available by calling the Accessible seating line at (313) 471-3211.
