Situated near the Detroit River, adjacent to the Cobo Conference and Exhibition Center is Cobo Arena. Reigning as one of Michigan's finest event sites, Cobo Arena has entertained national and international audiences for more than four decades.

An intimate 12,191-seat building with superb acoustics, Cobo is known to harbor the greatest rock 'n' roll audiences in the world. Several rock musicians have launched their superstar careers here, including Bob Seger, Madonna and KISS. Contemporary bands such as Weezer, Jimmy Eat World, Bush, Oasis, Blink 182, Ben Harper, and the Goo Goo Dolls as well as seasoned veterans like Bob Dylan play here today. In addition to hosting concerts, sporting and civic events, Cobo is also the site for family shows such as Barney. Hollywood movie agents, music magnets, television talk-show hosts and America's most powerful political figures, including several United States Presidents, have utilized this marvelous facility for rallies, gatherings, location shoots and spectacular shows.
